It still provides as much space as the classic Event Shelter but in a lighter package. It can be used as a sun tent, camp kitchen or a canopy shelter.
The Event Dome also has 4 permanently attached mesh screen walls which can be tucked away in included pockets, so you can have the sun shine in or be protected from the wind and rain – It also comes with 2 removable shade walls, to give low-angle sun protection and act as windbreakers.

- WeatherTec™: This system includes weather-proofing features with specially designed weather resistant fabrics. The Coleman Event Shelter has been designed to protect against UV rays, however it will withstand a light shower if the weather takes a turn for the worst. The flysheet has a 1000mm hydrostatic head rating.
- UV Guard™ Sun Protection: Certified laboratory testing proves Coleman© UVGuard™ protection fabrics with an SPF50 provide excellent protection against the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Proper use of sunscreen combined with shelters and tents made with UVGuard™ protection fabric is recommended against sun exposure.
- Fire Retardant: The fire retardant characteristic of Coleman material ensures that the fabric will not flare dangerously out of control and will self extinguish, giving time to escape in the event of an emergency.
